We last featured the soulful alt-pop sounds of east London-based artist and producer LIZZI back in 2018 with her gorgeous debut Longing. Having picked up support for the track from the likes of the Line of Best Fit, Earmilk and BBC Introducing, she followed this up with the release of Try earlier this year. Complex and Clash quickly jumped on board with praise, and now she is back with this glorious slice of introspective neo-soul peppered with hints of 80s R&B and pop. Taken from debut EP After Hours due in April 2020, Careless was premiered on Discobelle and has received further tastemaker support from BBC Introducing Beds, Herts & Bucks, as well as Le Future Wave. Watch her video here. A planned EP launch party next week has been postponed, but we shall keep you informed on the next available chance to catch her live. Alluring and soulful, LIZZI continues to weave her distinct blend of R&B, electronic and pop, and for that we are grateful.
