Think That I Don’t Need Your Love
We say
We do love a slice of soul in our music here at RotD, and this gorgeous track by Glaswegian artist Joesef has it in spades. Think That I Don’t Need Your Love is a beautiful ode about past love and moving on. Full of soulful tones over a smooth jazz-pop style reminiscent of the raspy authenticity of Amy Winehouse, the track was immediately added to numerous new release programming across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and Deezer. It marks an impressive year for the 24 year old who was named in the BBC Sound of 2020 longlist and has picked up tastemaker support from the likes of Clash, i-D, and Vogue, as well as BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, BBC 1Xtra, and Colors. He has just announced a new UK tour for this April/May, having completed his first one late last year that culminated in a sold-out show SWG3 in Glasgow, but before then he will be playing a sold-out show in London on 7 March at Oslo.
