You'll Miss It All
We say
Luna Pines are a trio from Leeds who self-produce dreamy, chilled-out moments of alternative electronic pop that centre around mental health issues. This, their latest single, released at the end of January and featuring on Spotify UK’s New Music Friday playlist (plus additions to Evening Indie, Hot New Bands & The Other editorial playlists), is a track about battling with a severe anxiety disorder, and looking back at past achievements with pride. With subtle nods to The Japanese House and Bon Iver, lush melodies wash over otherworldly synths and electronic flourishes in this beautifully emotive and dream-like offering. Notion are fans of the trio, along with Clash, Earmilk, Louder Than War and Crack in the Road, while radio support has come from BBC Introducing and Reprezent. The band have played several shows over the past six months, including a tour with Sofar Sounds, and will be headlining the Hope & Anchor in Islington tomorrow night (12 February), which we recommend. Raw, vulnerable, and touching dream pop.
