Featuring three-time Grammy-winning African vocalist Angélique Kidjo and extracts from esteemed ethnomusicologist Hugh Tracey’s extensive library of ‘African field recordings’, Milambi is an upbeat and harmonious number, full of joy and positivity. Accompanying the single is a beautifully edited music video made up of archival footage filmed by Hugh Tracey showcasing sweeping African landscapes and tribal dance rituals. Watch it here.
