Don’t Call Me Pretty
We say
It was a busy end to 2019 for RotD featured Dublin-based artist Aimée. Having broken onto the Irish scene earlier in the year with the infectious Don’t Bother and then consolidated her emerging presence with follow up Break Me on Irish radio (both singles are Top 40 airplay hits), the singer performed to 13,000 people at RTE 2FM’s Xmas Ball. Now she is back with this fearless pop anthem that challenges the significance placed upon female beauty, her first single from her forthcoming debut EP out later this year. Backed by silky synth-pop chords, pulsing bass and an up-tempo beat, Don’t Call Me Pretty is a slick offering showing off Aimée’s limitless vocal range. It was immediately added to new release programming on Spotify UK today (10 Jan), and we expect, will quickly pick up radio support across Irish radio and that of regional UK radio (45+ stations) who have previously supported this emerging pop vocal powerhouse. Upbeat and feisty soulful pop for fans of Anne-Marie and Zara Larsson.
