Continuing our Ones To Watch 2020 is gifted UK producer, artist and critically acclaimed tastemaker Joe Hertz. Having been wooed by the calming tones and blend of genres on his sublime 2017 Night/Daze EP, 2019 has seen his star rise with the release of four singles (including the RotD featured Rain in Cuba), two well-received shows at Lovebox and Wireless festivals and serious tastemaker praise from the likes of Complex, Wonderland, Nylon, Pigeons and Planes, FACT, Billboard, BBC 1Xtra, Capital XTRA, and Rinse FM. Not content with just amassing over 82m streams for his music, this year has also seen Joe produce for rising star Amber-Simone and London collective Franc Moody. His final single of the year, this soulful blend of R&B licks, smooth house and jazz-flecked vibes featuring the gorgeous vocals of Sophie Faith perfectly showcases his production style. It is this rich awareness and cross-pollination of genres by Joe, creating something entirely his own, sound-wise, is why we believe 2020 will see him reach new levels with his debut album.
