Brimming with honesty and a sense of vulnerability is this intimate song from Leeds-based producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and singer Jamie Clarke, aka Sfven. Taking his name from a hard drive he stores his songs on, like i love u is the latest track to be shared from his computer vault, following earlier singles Paranoid, Hard To Say I Love You Sober, and Closure this summer. Influenced by Flume and Bon Iver, the track is a gorgeously simple affair, blending an acoustic guitar melody with sweet vocal hooks, fat bass sounds, and electronic beats. Featuring on Deezer UK's Brand New playlist today, the track is set to be played by BBC Introducing’s Dean Jackson on his show this week. Previous tastemaker support has come from Jack Saunders (Radio 1), Tom Robinson (BBC 6Music) and YouTube Channel Suicide Sheep.
