Nice Guys
We say
We can’t get enough of Leicestershire quintet Easy Life, having featured their breezy single Earth earlier this summer, the lads continue their breakout year with this woozy and playful anthem. It received its first play last week as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in The World on BBC Radio 1 and was immediately seized upon by Spotify (8 NMF), Apple Music and Deezer for their new release playlists. The track has since been added to a further ten editorial playlists at Spotify and the band have also received tastemaker praise to date from the likes of Sunday Times, NME, GQ and Colors among others. Expect to see more features over the next couple of days too, as the band dropped this brilliant accompanying video last night. The group, who have just finished a string of sold-out shows across the UK after a busy summer festival schedule, have also announced details of their ‘Junk Food’ global tour next year that includes a date at London’s Roundhouse on 26 March. With their genre-busting attitude and confessional narrative, Easy Life create perfect pop nuggets for today’s generation, making them one of the essential new bands of the year.
