Indie outfit Lost Cousins craft dreamy, melodic and buoyant indie psych rock. Influenced by the likes of Tame Impala, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Local Natives, the four-piece from Toronto, who met at university whilst studying for their music PhD’s, released their first music four years ago and dropped their gorgeous debut album In Scenery earlier this year. Having picked up praise from tastemakers Paste and Indie88 across the pond, as well as streaming support from Spotify (Indie All Stars/NMF) and Apple Music (Best of the Week), the lads are now bringing their music to Europe. Tonight, they will be playing Reeperbahn festival at Kukunn (10pm), and to celebrate have released alternate versions of their single Stay. This euphoric and richly layered gem, alongside a remix by Mystery Jets, was premiered by Clash this week and offers a delicious insight into what to expect. So dive in.
