Let us introduce you to west London producer Measure For Measure, who crafts an unashamedly pop and quirky number in this debut release. Released today (28 August), PaperCuts sees the young producer tackle the themes of love, pain and obsession against a colourful beat and lush abstract production. It sonically sits alongside the likes of Flume, Charli XCX and SBTRKT, and is the kind of pop song that gently weaves into your subconsciousness. Having previously solely produced Emily Burns's 3m streamed track Test Drive and Badgirl$' Stella, the former Abbey Road Studios in-house producer is currently in the process of setting up a studio with his label 37 Adventures, which is set to open later this year. With his debut EP Calories due for release in the coming months too, this addictive and playful slice of pop is the perfect calling card from the emerging producer and artist. One to watch.
