Break Me
We say
Earlier this year, we introduced you to Dublin artist Aimée with her infectious blast of 90s-inspired pop in Don't Bother. The track topped the Irish iTunes chart (kicking off Lewis Capaldi’s Someone You Loved in the process), was a top 40 airplay hit in Ireland, playlisted at 45+ radio stations across the UK and featured across numerous Spotify playlists. Not bad for a debut offering. Now she is back with her follow up, Break Me, a slick pop production about her battles with anxiety. With its many earworms, from the guitar motif to the uplifting synths and vocal hooks, this lush single featured on Spotify UK New Music Friday playlist today. Aimée is set to play her debut headline show at Dublin’s Whelan’s in November, so we will have to wait a while yet to see her in London, but with the Irish media already tipping her as Ireland’s answer to Anne-Marie and Zara Larsson, we are sure this won’t be too long.
