Last October, we proudly featured L.O.V.E, the beautiful debut from Bristolian singer-songwriter RVBY. Since then, the 20 year old has supported Self Esteem and Meadowlark, played Abbie McCarthy’s Good Karma night in London, performed at Dot to Dot Festival and Liverpool Sound City, plus received tastemaker support for her singles from the likes of Earmilk, Lock Mag, The Line of Best Fit (Song of the Day), and BBC Introducing. Now she is back with her best track yet, a shimmering and bewitching blast of uplifting pop that highlights her impressive vocal range. Produced by Toby Scott and premiered by Idolator last week, Hanging On was featured on six Spotify New Music Friday (incl UK) playlists, as well as Amazon Music UK’s Best of the Week playlist. More support has since come in from London In Stereo, Popjustice and Wonky Sensitive with more to confirmed for over the next week or so. Clearly showing a knack for writing infectious pop, RVBY is a bright emerging talent and one that just keeps on getting better and better with every new release. One to watch.
