Released last month, Real is the latest track from emerging artist Marc Jones. Born and raised in Croydon, he has been building a buzz for his lyrical take on the stigma he has faced over the years and how he’s flipping it into creating messages that call for a purpose-driven existence. Taken from his forthcoming six-track Progress EP, produced by RP9 (Chip, AJ X Deno, Sophia Grace), the track sees Marc at his most thoughtful and inspirational as he analyses the modern day desire to find popularity and approval from social media. Support has so far come from DJ Ace at 1Xtra, while Spotify have just added it to their Beast Mode and Blessings editorial playlists. His previous songs have garnered radio support from the likes of 6 Music, BBC Asian Network, Rinse, Reprezent and Pulse, so expect to hear spins on these in the coming weeks. Impactful and free-flowing, Real is set to take Marc to the next level.
