Still The Good Old Days (feat. Joe Walsh)
We say
Now, we are pretty sure you are all aware of nine-time Grammy Award winner Sheryl Crow. With over 50m albums sold worldwide, she is currently nearing the end of her European tour promoting her forthcoming album of collaborations, Threads, released at the end of August. The album features collaborations with Stevie Nicks, Maren Morris, Mavis Staples, Chris Stapleton, Chuck D, Sting, St Vincent and Johnny Cash to name just a few, covering honky tonk jams to bluesy Americana numbers. This groove-heavy country rocker, featuring Joe Walsh from the Eagles, is her latest single and is a real gem about having fun, no matter what age you are. Radio 2 have already playlisted the track and this morning (28 June), she will be playing acoustic tracks and chatting to Zoe Ball on her breakfast show live from Glastonbury, where she will be performing later at the Pyramid stage (2.30pm). All in all, everything is shaping up nicely for her new album and with this infectious rocker added to her catalogue, Glasto attendees are set for a stomping good time.
