Having learned his trade working as an assistant at Abbey Road Studios and producing for others from his bedroom studio, including Emily Burns on her 3m streamed track Test Drive, Franklyn is now releasing his own pop banger. Featuring the recently signed (37 Adventures) 22 year old singer Elle Charms from Devon, Lifestyle, with its quirky pop production and beefy bass, sonically sits alongside the likes of Charli XCX, Sophie and Marina. It’s a lush, bubblegum pop earworm that we expect to see featuring across new release programming this Friday and taking spots in New Pop playlists too. With lyrics lovingly poking fun at the plastic and trashy realms of pop culture, this playful number is a most excellent calling card from an emerging producer and one to watch.
