With a track that’s positively basking in laid-back summery vibes, meet 18 year old rising pop artist Molly Rainford from Essex. Currently, in her final year studying at London’s ELAM (East London Arts & Music) after graduating from the Sylvia Young Theatre School, Molly has been honing her skills as a performer and on Friday, dropped this gorgeous dose of airy R&B tinged pop. Co-written and produced by Ebenezer (Rejjie Snow, Stefflon Don), the track featured on Apple Music Best of the Week, as well as being heavily supported at Spotify with editorial additions to New Music Friday (UK & NL), The Pop List, All New All Now and New Pop Revolution. It’s an absolute delight, built around a stripped-back acoustic guitar and a crisp beat that bursts into life with her lush vocals and shimmering chorus. Her previous single, Long Run, co-written with Plan B, helped her become Apple’s New Artist of the Week and with the likes of i-D, Notion, Clash, Hunger, Spindle and BBC Introducing already fans, we are sure this bright and talented teen has it all to make a big splash in British pop.
