Dancing Bug
We say
Two of Dublin’s finest rising artists Le Boom and Æ Mak, who we both have featured here on RotD over the last year, have come together to collaborate on this bright dose of electronic led pop. Premiered on DIY Magazine last week and garnering its first play on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, Dancing Bug, as the name suggests, is a song full of energy with its infectious beat and earworm melody powering Æ Mak distinctive vocals to its highly enjoyable conclusion. Taken from Le Boom’s forthcoming debut EP All of My Highs, the track featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist last Friday and has received further spins on Today FM and 2FM, as well as online support from the Line of Best Fit, Hot Press, Aupium and Beatcast among others. This weekend, Le Boom and Æ Mak are bringing their energetic live shows to the UK where they will perform Dancing Bug live, starting at Thousand Island this Friday (3 May) in London then Live at Leeds and Hit The North. Later this year Le Boom will be performing at South Central and Y Not festivals along with an Irish tour, including a 1500 capacity show in Dublin, while Æ Mak will be playing Reading and Leeds festival. Gloriously addictive and fun electronic pop for the masses.
