Red Lights (feat. A Boogie Wit da Hoodie)
We say
Rising Australian act JXN (pronounced Jackson) is the moniker of Melbourne artist and social media influencer Jackson Brazier. Last year he dropped his Triple J endorsed debut single Solitude - with its slick R&B pop vibes drawing support from Apple Music, MTV and Channel [V] in his homeland. It has since clocked over 2.5m Spotify streams. Written at 3am one night by Jackson, Red Lights is the breezy, downtempo follow-up that has all the hallmarks of becoming the perfect late night jam and post-club party playlist staple. Featuring Bronx rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, who’s just coming off the back of his US Billboard No.1 album Hoodie SZN, the track premiered on Triple J last week and was immediately added to ten Spotify New Music Friday (incl UK & AU), as well as Apple Music Best of the Week (AU). With its positive energy and a sound that has mass appeal, Red Lights is a statement of intent from this emerging Australian star so don’t be surprised if you see this climbing the streaming charts the world over in the coming weeks.
