It’s been nearly a year since we first introduced you to London-based Swedish artist Shaqdi and her smooth debut track Colorless. Having dropped her debut EP back in May, which now boasts a couple of million streams, she took some time out to travel and work on new material with producer Zag Erlat. She is now back with this gloriously woozy, nu-R&B tinged alt pop track for us to enjoy. Released just over a week ago along with a beautifully shot video in Japan, this sensual number has already garnered praise from online tastemakers the Line of Best Fit, Clash, V Magazine and Alfitude among others, plus spins from Jamz Supernova on BBC 1Xtra. It's another impressive dose of future-soul on an electronic tip to add to her catalogue and perfect for those chilled late-night R&B playlists. Expect to hear more from this rising star over the course of 2019.
