Work It Out
We say
Over the past two months, Rugby-born, London-based singer Blithe has been creating quite a stir in the new pop world. Clocking up over 750k combined streams since her first single Mission, which was ranked in Spotify’s top 20 UK and Ireland Viral charts, she has garnered tastemaker support from the likes of Popjustice and Spindle, as well as featured on the cover of Spotify’s New Pop Revolution playlist. Premiered by the Line of Best Fit, new single Work It Out is a gorgeously optimistic dose of punchy global pop filtered through her own suburban UK vibe. Her singles so far, including this one, have featured across DSP’s new release programming with 11 New Music Friday playlists (inc UK & US), Apple’s Best of the Week and Deezer’s Brand New while this week, Work It Out was named Radio 1’s Best New Pop. With a forthcoming debut EP out early next year and her debut headline show at The Curtain in Shoreditch on 13 March, Blithe is a brand new pop-star-in-the-making and one to watch in 2019.
