Released last Friday (7 December) and featuring on six Spotify New Music Friday playlists (inc the UK) and Apple’s Best of the Week, is this enthralling slice of cheery indie from Uxbridge four-piece BLOXX. Taken from their forthcoming debut EP, Headspace, out in February, Sea Blue is already garnering early support at radio with a Radio 1 Midnight Drop feature by Jack Saunders on release day, plays by John Kennedy on Radio X and an Amazing Radio Audition show poll add. Having just finished their biggest headline tour of the UK to date (22 shows), the London band have announced a 15 date headline tour in April, including a show at London’s Dingwalls on 10 April, and will be supporting the Wombats on their full European tour in February. With its jangling guitar riffs and infectious chorus line, this vivacious little indie banger is set to conquer indie dancefloors, airwaves and genre playlists across the UK.
