Dangerous
We say
With a distinct 80s sheen, Brighton-based four-piece Twilight Driving deliver a hugely expansive and infectious dose of indie-pop in their latest release. Released at the end of last month, Dangerous draws on the band’s love of catchy hooks, heartfelt lyrics and big sounds to create a gorgeously anthemic and emotive number. It’s thoroughly addictive, recalling elements of early Killers and Springsteen but all wrapped together in an indie pop sound of now. Tastemakers Louder Than War, Atwood and It's All Indie are fans, following previous support from Clash, Spotify (Alternative Generation) and BBC Introducing for their singles Between The Sheets and When Love Goes Wrong. With its neon-clad synths and stadium-sized indie-pop sound, it’s calling out to be synced to an American TV series or film, but for now, add this to your alternative and feelgood contextual playlists, and let’s hope the likes of 6 Music, Radio 1 and Radio X pick up on this absolute gem soon.
