Alone Again
We say
Back in June we featured the beautiful ethereal ballad, Whispers, from Manchester-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist James Holt. The track was produced by Jim Spencer (Charlatans/Johnny Marr) who returns on production duties for this powerful, lyric-driven number about loneliness and regret. Released last Friday and coming in at under three glorious minutes, Alone Again is a slick, '60s inspired guitar pop gem, full of tempo changes and dramatic effects. Reminiscent of Revolver-era Beatles with a northern indie heartbeat, Alone Again, has picked up early support at radio from the likes of Radio 1’s Phil Taggart, BBC Radio Manchester and Radio X, while previous tastemaker support has come from the Line of Best Fit, Louder Than War, Gigwise, BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. Accompanied by a glorious video shot at the famous Twisted Wheel club in Manchester, this is another impressive addition to this talented musicians catalogue.
