We have been long-time admirers of Scotland’s Lewis Capaldi ever since we first heard his debut track Bruises last year. Since then, it’s been a whirlwind ride for the Glasgow-based artist who has now amassed over 200m combined streams (77m coming from Bruises alone), sold out three back-to-back headline tours (50k ticket sales), captured the hearts of international audiences and garnered praise from tastemakers (Independent, Billboard, Clash) and musical peers (Sam Smith, Rag’n’Bone Man & Niall Horan) alike. New single Grace is a beautiful and uplifting song from the 21 year old singer-songwriter, which has already clocked up over 800k streams on Spotify in less than a week after release, thanks to 23 New Music Friday inclusions and additions to eight editorial playlists, including All New All Now, Singled Out and Easy. Further streaming support has come from Apple and Deezer, and if that’s not enough to interest you, then check out the hilarious accompanying video of Lewis pole dancing. Just brilliant. With his recent addition to the BBC Radio 1 Brit List, and ahead of another headline UK and European tour starting in October (including two nights at his hometown venue Barrowlands which sold out in an hour - ten months after his first headline show), Grace is another great example of why Lewis is one of the hottest acts around. Quite simply amazing.
