Creepin' Up
We say
Having produced tracks for the likes of Not3s and Young Adz, producer Remedee steps out into the limelight with this slick debut. Featuring afro-swing pioneers Kojo Funds and Yxng Bane, as well as Jamaican dancehall star Masicka, Creepin’ Up (The Come Up) is a rich fusion of Caribbean and London street sounds. Inspired by the forthcoming film The Intent 2: The Come Up that features fellow musicians Ghetts, Popcaan, Fekky and Krept & Konan, the track received its first radio spin on Charlie Sloth’s BBC 1Xtra show last Thursday and featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist. With further spins across Radio 1 and 1Xtra since then, we expect this, the lead single from the film's soundtrack, to garner some serious momentum as we near the motion picture’s opening and full promo for the music-heavy action flick gets going.
