Starlight
We say
After impressing crowds at the Great Escape festival earlier this summer, which led to them signing to Primary Talent, London-based duo STORME are back with this impressive dose of punchy synth-pop. Co-written and produced with James Rushent of Does It Offend You Yeah, Starlight sees Amanda’s powerful vocals soar over a purposeful marching beat in this shimmering example of ethereal Scandi-pop. Upon release, it was immediately added to six New Music Friday Spotify playlists (incl. all Nordic regions), Apple Music’s Best of The Week and Filtr’s First Listen on Deezer. Since then, it has been chosen for Spotify’s New Indie & Alt and It’s a Bop editorial playlists, as well as garnering online tastemaker praise from the likes of the Line of Best Fit, EQ Music, Atwood Magazine and PressPlayOk among others. Previous radio support for their singles, Volcano, which we featured and Burning Echoes have come from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. Sonically rich and euphoric, this is another glorious addition to STORME's growing catalogue of mystical pop.
