Sorry
We say
London-based 20-year-old singer-songwriter Taet shapes a rather alluring dose of confident R&B pop in this sublime debut release. Inspired by her mother’s love of ‘90s R&B, Sorry is drenched in soulful tones with a distinctly modern pop sound and gorgeous groove. From the opening organ melody to the bounce of the chorus, Taet’s vocals shine in this absolute gem. Upon release, the track was added to Spotify’s UK and Global New Music Friday playlists and has since been added to New Pop Revolution, Chilled Pop Hits and R&B UK editorial playlists. Radio support has so far come from BBC 1Xtra, Reprezent, and Pulse 88 whilst BBC Introducing will be recording an interview and live performance with her next Thursday. With more music to come over the coming months, this is a bright and promising debut from an emerging talent. One to watch.
