Guilty
We say
It’s been nearly two years since we last featured UK country duo, The Shires and today they release their superb third album, Accidentally on Purpose. Recorded in Nashville, the album sees the duo raising the bar once again with a luscious blend of massive country-pop choruses and emotive words about their whirlwind journey, relationships and their time in the States. Current Radio 2 A-list track, Guilty, is no exception to the formula with its infectious, country-tinged melodies and hooks already amassing over 600k plays on Spotify and inclusion on the platform's Fresh Country playlist. With two gold certified albums to their name and the first British act to win a CMA award, Ben and Crissie will be appearing on the Zoe Ball ITV show and BBC Breakfast this Sunday and Monday respectively, before heading off on their massive UK tour in May which includes a sold-out show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 18 May and a performance at the BBC’s The Biggest Weekend. The Shires have once again bowled us over with their sheer songwriting talent and lyrical delivery. Just marvellous.
