Aftershock
We say
Back in September, we featured the irresistible pop single, Raincheck, from Surrey-born singer Hannah Jane Lewis. The track has so far amassed over one million streams, featured in numerous Spotify editorial playlists, and garnered tastemaker praise from likes of Sunday Times, The Line Of Best Fit, Idolator, MTV UK, and Popjustice among others, plus it received radio plays at BBC Radio 1, including a recent BBC Introducing Track of the Week. Five months on and she is back with another slice of pop perfection. Produced by Swedish duo The Union (who worked with her on Raincheck), Aftershock fizzes with an infectious energy and a bubblegum-sweet vibe tailor-made for airplay. Released last Friday, the track featured at number 7 on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, as well as being included on Apple Music’s Best of the Week, Deezer’s Brand New UK, Napster’s New & Good, and Amazon’s Brand New Music playlists. Further support has come from London Live TV who aired a performance of Aftershock over the weekend. With the track being played on Best New Pop on Radio 1 this morning, this colourful and captivating pop princess looks set to continue her glittery journey to becoming a global star in 2018.
