Wild Silence
We say
Regular readers will know of our admiration for the gorgeous vocal harmonies of the London-based group The Wandering Hearts and their brand of folk-Americana. Today, sees them releasing their heartwarming and rousing debut album, Wild Silence, having just won the Bob Harris Emerging Artist award at the Americana UK awards last week. It’s an absolute joy with their knack for telling heartfelt stories flowing through up-tempo, foot-stomping anthems to harmony-led ballads. The title track and future single in waiting, Wild Silence, is a perfect example of both, starting with a simple piano motif and luscious harmonies the track builds into an upbeat and glorious sing-a-long. Written and recorded at east London recording studio, The Premises with producer Pete Hammerton, the album is a must for fans of Fleetwood Mac, First Aid Kit and Of Monsters and Men. With the current single, Burning Bridges on Radio 2 playlist, a headline tour of the UK starting later this month and their first Nashville tour supporting Marty Stuart in June, 2018 is shaping up a big year for this talented quartet.
