London based artist ARLO kicks off 2018 with an expansive dose of grandiose alt-pop in his new single, Homecoming. Premiered by Phil Taggart on BBC Radio 1 last week, the track soars as ARLO’s powerful vocals are complemented with a driving percussion and gorgeous production that takes its cues from the sound of Woodkid and Kwabs. Online tastemaker support includes Mahogany Blog, The Line Of Best Fit, Hilly Dilly and Complex whilst previous single Safe was featured in Spotify US New Music Friday playlist. With a truly innovative outlook on pop music, ARLO is a uniquely impressive talent who will be performing a sold-out debut live show on 28 March at London’s Waiting Room. One to watch.
