Blurring the lines between being a singer songwriter and electronic producer, Berlin’s Monolink makes a bold statement with his thrilling new single Sirens. Relaxed electronic beats mix harmoniously with subtle acoustic guitars in this tranquil yet progressive composition. Monolink’s haunting vocal adds a deeper dimension to the song, particularly on the beautifully executed and elegantly textured chorus when the guitars are promoted to the fore. Performing extremely well in his homeland of Germany, the track is rising in digital and streaming charts, and currently sits at No.4 electronic on iTunes and is at No.33 in Spotify’s Top 50 Viral Chart. Daytime radio attention must surely follow and check out Beatport for a dance floor remix from Amsterdam based producer Patrice Baumel on 15 December. Monolink is a fascinating artist to keep on red alert whilst we look forward to new material, including a full album of work, which is timetabled for release next spring.
