Flowers
We say
5 After Midnight are creating a buzz amongst fans with the latest track Flowers. A cover of Sweet Female Attitude’s UK garage classic, the simple piano driven rework is an inspirational song choice that lands gracefully on the ears. Taken from their latest The Sauce EP, this lead track highlights the superb harmonies and vocal qualities of each of the boyband members, Kieran Alleyne, Jordan Lee and Nathan Lewis. It’s a window into the softer side of the trio, who are more commonly known for funky upbeat pop numbers like their debut single Up In Here, released last summer, and party starting tracks Taste and Talk. The 2016 X Factor finalists are rounding off a dazzling first year in the spotlight by playing a surprise show at Irvine’s Rivergate Centre and switching on the Christmas lights. They’ll also be at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on 9 December performing in Soul Intention, a unique charity show with the Got Soul choir. A sensitively shot video for Flowers, set on a calm sunset British beach, is released today and will further power the single whilst raising anticipation for a forthcoming debut album to be released next year.
