Mysterious Girl

Listen closely as there’s a chance that you’ll already be familiar with London–based OMYO’s sublime new single, Mysterious Girl. The track featured on Accessorize’s SS17 Festival Fashion TV campaign this past summer and it’s easy to see why with its seductive and upbeat R&B dance vibe. The song originally started life as a slow jam, written when band members, Will and Tom, were sofa surfing at the group’s inception, but soon realised it had greater potential as an up-tempo dance number. Working with north London DJ/producer VIHANI (All Saints and Wyclef Jean) they took the track up a notch or two. Clash recently premiered the stunning video and the duo have enjoyed support from Huw Stephens at Radio 1 and Charlie Sloth at 1Xtra. After a busy year supporting Sugarhill Gang, Soul II Soul and Jocelyn Brown as well as playing numerous summer festivals, including the Silverstone Moto and Nozstock, they will be playing The Finsbury in London on Monday October 16. This is another absolute gem of a track from a very talented, sync friendly duo.
