Hailing from Kent, The Modern Strangers are duo Max and Archie who close out the summer with the heavily infectious, indie-dance driven pop anthem All The Time. Derived from their self-defined “disco with a leather jacket” sound, the track blends the anthemic nature of Imagine Dragons with the groove-infused beats of Jungle and the pop sensibilities of the Scissor Sisters. Having released a plethora of singles in 2017 including Coco Hello, Margarita and Weekend Men, the brothers have been going from strength to strength, picking up radio support from Radio 1, (Huw Stephens), BBC 6 Music, Virgin Radio, Amazing Radio and Radio X. Further tastemaker press has come from Clash, Metro and Indie Shuffle, with Spotify featuring them in their Viral 50 and curated playlists. The band will be playing their biggest headline show to date at Birthdays in London tomorrow (October 5) after a busy summer playing over 17 festivals including Leopallooza, Y Not Festival, Secret Garden Party and a slot on the BBC Introducing stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Catch them live if you can on their autumn tour as we are sure you will be impressed. Just be prepared to have a few hook-laden songs going around in your head for the next day or two.
