Dan Owen is one of our favourite new artists. We’ve been longtime fans of his bluesy yet soulful vocal since watching an enthralling Great Escape performance when he was unsigned. His amazing new single Hideaway opens with a stomping drum beat and a huge blues riffs and is his most powerful track yet. This bold, dynamic and determined track is a streaming success having more than 150k plays its first week with positioning in Spotify’s UK viral chart as well as others around Europe. The song is also currently gaining widespread exposure as it forms the soundtrack for the Boots No.7 televised and online advert. Hideaway follows Moonlight, his emotional debut release on Atlantic Records and take it from us, he’s amazing live.
