Hailing from Exeter, The Loft Club are a '60s-tinged indie band who released their debut EP Hearts Desire last Autumn. Consisting of Daniel Schamroth, Jamie Whyte, Kieran Chalmers, Amy O’Loughlin and Dan Wright, the band have collaborated with platinum-selling US singer-songwriter, Lisa Loeb, on this tremendous reworked single Flicker from the EP. Lisa instantly wanted to be a part of the track after the band’s manager played her the track and recorded a whole new verse and harmonies for the song. Mixed and mastered by Gavin Monaghan (Editors, Ryan Adams, Kings of Leon) at Magic Garden Studios, the result is an absolutely glorious, melodic and ardent ballad that perfectly showcases the vocal dynamics between Lisa Loeb and lead singer Daniel Schamroth. With its chiming guitars and flourishes of Americana layered throughout its surely just a matter of time before we hear radio airplay in the UK and across the pond. The band has already garnered praise from Clash and has over 250,000 combined streams on Spotify.
