Swedish songstress Frida Sundemo has bewitched us ever since we featured her back in August 2015 with her shimmering Scandi electro-pop track Stay Young. In the two years since, she has continued to produce music with Joel Humlén, starred in the film adaptation of John Niven’s Kill Your Friends and recently signed to leading Scandinavian record label Cosmos Music. Gold is the fourth track to be taken from her much-anticipated debut international album, Flashbacks & Futures, which will be released on October 6. It follows the highly acclaimed singles We Are Dreamers, It’s OK and Keep An Eye On Me that gained praise from The Line of Best Fit, Fader, Idolator and many other tastemakers. The track blends her passion for orchestral arrangements and club culture to grandiose and spellbinding effect with its opening synths, swooping string movements and glorious vocals. With over 3.5 million combined Spotify streams and having her music featured in American TV series Greys Anatomy, Teen Wolf and Scream Queens, it won’t be long till the whole world will know about the breathtaking music of Frida Sundemo.
