We last featured London-based singer/songwriter Nick Wilson at the end of March with his beautiful single, Bare. He now returns with his third single this year, Miles Apart, a song which delicately weaves his gentle and soaring vocals over a bed of soothing acoustic strumming and subtle electric licks. Recorded, produced and mixed entirely by himself in his bedroom, his DIY approach and pared-down production offers the track a genuine, intimate and confessional nature that highlights its message of reassurance. With songwriting and musical talent like this it is no surprise to us that he has over five million combined Spotify streams and 170,000 monthly listeners. Spotify has already featured him on its playlists ‘The Stress Buster’ and ‘Sad Songs’ while further tastemaker support has come from Clash and BBC Introducing. One thing we are sure of is that you will be hearing a lot more of Nick over the next year.
