Joy
We say
The Moods are a nine-piece collective of producers and poets who formed as part of a musical experiment three years ago in north Manchester. Fusing a whole host of musical styles and influences including hip-hop, reggae, drum’n’bass, brass and electro, they make music for the head and the heart, with thought-provoking lyrics and addictive dance beats. Championed by the likes of Terry Christian, Clint Boon and John Robb, this euphoric track is a culmination of all the hard work they’ve put in to date and has been picking up attention across UK regional and student radio stations, but we think it thoroughly deserves a shot at national attention now, ready to give them their mainstream breakthrough. It’s a taster from their forthcoming album Missing Peace, due this autumn. The group ended 2016 with raucous, sell-out gigs in London, Glasgow and Manchester, and will return to the capital for what should be an unmissable show on July 7 at the legendary Dublin Castle. Once this energetic track begins to pick up word-of-mouth buzz, starting right here, success will swiftly follow.
