The music and exquisite voice of Hannah Scott first came to our attention in 2015 when we heard her song Hurricanes played on Dermot O’Leary’s Saturday afternoon show on Radio 2. Two years on, Hannah’s been travelling between her home here in the UK and Tuscany in Italy, the base of her collaborator and creative partner Stefano Della Casa, who’s recently signed to Ultra Music Publishing. Together they’ve worked once more on new material for a mini album that should be with us later in the year. This gorgeous first taster from it showcases the quality of her distinctive vocals again. It’s already been picking up support from BBC Introducing Three Counties and other regional stations across the UK. A recent trip to New York to perform at the Mondo NYC music festival and conference was funded by PRS Foundation and helped raise her profile even further. She back home for a BBC Radio Cambridge session on June 18 and plays live at Kings Cross Canopy Festival on June 25. In the summer sunshine, this song provides an ideal chilled soundtrack to ease away the day's stresses.
