Best Part Of Me
We say
Two Ways Home are a London-based alt-country duo who we featured in 2015 with a brace of excellent songs - Time Last Forever and Just For Now. Last Friday (June 2) saw the release of their third EP Closest Stranger. Mixed and mastered in Nashville, it’s the first time Isabella and Lewis have worked with UK and US co-writers including Logan Brill, Demi Marriner and Adam James (all of whom are locked into that mainstream country-leaning radio sound right now). After much love from BBC country music shows across the UK, they’re looking to breakout and crossover in a very big way indeed. Festival gigs are lined up including River Town in Bristol, where they’ll play alongside The Shires, Ward Thomas and many more. This Wednesday (June 7) sees them support Kate Ellis in London at Camden’s Green Note, then it’s a songwriters ‘Round Up’ in Soho at the CountryLine Cafe at Gail’s Bakery the night after (June 8), and Sofar Sounds this Friday. Upbeat, bright and pushing all the right buttons, UK country is on a roll right now, and Two Ways Home could be the scene's next superstars.
