With summer upon us, here’s a huge-sounding track from two producers and DJs, namely Brazil’s Leo Justi and LA-based Brazzabelle. Both have worked alongside Skrillex, with Leo also counting M.I.A. as a fan and collaborator of his, whilst Brazzabelle has provided remixes for acts including Elliphant and Crystal Fighters, and supported Martin Solveig on US tour dates. Together that melting pot of global influences, styles and cultures mix perfectly here on this empowering anthem. Chosen as the soundtrack for a UEFA-produced short film promoting awareness and inclusivity, it will play to more than 200 million TV viewers in the coming weeks, with particularly focus on women’s football, aiming to encourage more teenage girls from around the world to take up the game and make it Europe’s No.1 sport for women in Europe by 2022. Arabic and South American sounds blend samples of horns and flutes, tribal drum beats and intoxicating rhythms to create a dizzying cocktail, then Amsterdam-based MC Zanillya pushes it all along with her vocals. An inspiring track with true global appeal.
