We say
Premiered last week by Huw Stephens on Radio 1, and by Pigeons & Planes too, this latest track from Krrum is the follow-up to Evil Twin, a song that reached No.1 on Spotify’s Viral Chart and Hype Machine, and was also featured in an Apple Watch commercial earlier this year. Led by Derbyshire lad Alex Carrie, he met his musical partner Harrison, who’s the vocalist and songwriter for the group, whilst studying production at Leeds College of Music. This single is the first co-release with +1 / 300 in the USA and a taster of what we can expect from an album that’s currently being recorded, and set for release later in the year. Tonight (MArch 28) sees their first live headline show of the year, at Headroom House in Leeds (as part of their own M00N CLUB), before London dates on April 13 at Scotch of St. James, and another on June 1 at Pickle Factory. The song's pulsing-synth-brass stabs underpin lyrics dealing with the awkwardness we often experience when wanting to dive headlong into a relationship, but being worried that acting too fast will just ruin it all. Jump right in, though - this is wonderful.
