Jerry Williams is an artist that we’re a long-term fan of, and it now seems the rest of the industry is taking note too. The last few months have had plays from Huw Stephens at Radio 1, BoxFresh Ones To Watch tipping her alongside Declan McKenna, five million combined streams across her songs on Spotify, and glowing tastemaker reviews with The Guardian, Clash, Gigwise and Wonderland among others. Her songs have been heard in TV shows including Sunday Brunch, Drifters, MTV Scream and Made In Chelsea, and now comes another excellent track from her Let’s Just Forget It EP, which also includes previously-featured Mother and the title track itself. The EP picked up a production gong at 2016's Unsigned Music Awards, and a new EP's due this summer. Next month sees her perform headline shows in her hometown of Portsmouth at the Wedgwood Rooms on March 4 and in London at The Waiting Room on March 28. With a tune so beautifully chilled, making you yearn for long lazy sun-drenched days, Jerry remains the future solo star that we'll stick with for the long haul.
