It’s eighteen months since we last featured Netherlands-based group My Baby, but a lot has happened since then. First up, they’ve benefitted greatly from the ETEP (European Talent Exchange Programme), which has seen their profile raised as it's taken them to some of the biggest festival bills with their unique multi-influenced sound. Their album Shamanaid will soon be followed-up with a whole new collection of songs this coming spring, and the band will return to the UK in April for an eight-date headline tour across the country (including a London show) to promote it. Their bluesy, folky, tribal cocktail-blend of sounds has an impressive level of listener engagement, with this track alone racking up almost a million Spotify plays. Fan bases are springing up wherever they perform and so far include Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and in several countries across Europe. Hugely accessible, whilst drawing in a myriad of genres and styles, just watch their reputation grow further in 2017, as they charm crowds at almost every key summer festival, and their rhythms take over us all.
