Dreams
We say
Four months after we last featured Colchester's SuperGlu with their song Weekend, they return with another belter. This lively burst of melodic indie rock distills youthful exuberance into one pacy hook-filled package. They played packed-out shows at Latitude and SWN as well as two BBC Introducing headline slots at Reading & Leeds festivals. March 2017 sees them performing at SXSW, and US dates are being lined up in conjunction with that. Next though, there's a free London show tomorrow (November 9) at The Lock Tavern as part of Live Nation’s Source series, highlighting some of the UK’s freshest new talent. Thanks to tastemaker support from DIY, Clash Magazine, GIITTV, Louder Than War, Tipping Point, GigSlutz and 1883 Magazine, along with radio plays from Huw Stephens at Radio 1, John Kennedy at Radio X, Shell Zenner & Emma Snook at Amazing Radio, things are buzzing for them. They’ll also support Asylums at Tooting Tram & Social on December 12. Insanely catchy, SuperGlu conclusively prove that great UK guitar pop is far from being in the doldrums.
