We say

Last time we featured Nathan Sykes was almost a year ago, with his beautiful piano-led ballad Over & Over Again. It went on to become a UK Top 10 single and a Billboard Dance Chart No.1 in its remixed form. Now he’s back with this song out today (September 30), the first release from his upcoming album Unfinished Business, and it’s co-written by Nathan and producer Harmony Samuels. As well as recording, Nathan’s had a busy year performing live too, most notably with Take That and Olly Murs at London’s Hyde Park British Summertime Festival, and he’ll soon be on the road in the USA with Alessia Cara as special guest on her tour. Ariana Grande and G-Eazy collaborate with him on the album alongside Diane Warren, Babyface and LDN Noise. This song sees him on top form with an emotional, soulful pop vocal delivered over a stripped-back production that enables him to truly shine as an artist. It’s a wonderfully layered song that builds throughout, harking back to classic R&B hits of the 1950’s and 60’s but with a cool modern gospel-tinged twist. And it deserves to be massive.
