22-year old singer, producer and rapper Geovarn arrived in Tottenham from Jamaica at the age of seven and struggled through his school years. He eventually found solace in music, successfully completing a sound engineering course, building his own studio, encouraging local artists in Enfield to work with him and then, two years ago, released his debut single 4AM. He's since built a solid reputation amongst key tastemakers like Jamal at SBTV, and strong media support at 1Xtra (where this is the BBC Introducing Record of the Week and prompted DJ Target to compare him to The Weeknd on his Sunday show), plus Spotify, Deezer, Napster, MTV Base, Kiss TV, Channel AKA, Flava, The Box and many more. He clinched a deal last year with Epic and is working on his debut album for summer 2017 release. His next London show is at XOYO on September 19 and Sony Mobile are promoting him through their Xperia Lounge app to over 20 million unique monthly users.
