We say

If you’re looking for an artist who can convincingly deliver a brilliantly-crafted song, and who's previously had mainstream support across the board from the team at Radio 2, British singer-songwriter Harriet is your girl. It’s a couple of years since she first emerged but returns with her self-titled album and this gorgeous first single, produced and co-written by the great Judie Tzuke alongside Steve Anderson, who’s collaborated with Kylie, Leona Lewis, Markus Feehily and most recently with another of our RotD hotly-tipped acts X&Y. Comparisons have been made to her vocals sounding like Karen Carpenter, and that’s no bad thing to be honest. Packed with lush strings from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra no less, a killer melody and earworms at every turn, it’s a tale of real first love and how that flame never really goes out. With Kylie’s management team behind her, she’ll next be taking to the road for live dates to promote the album. Quality like this endures for years and decades ahead. And you’d be hard pressed to find any better tune to launch an album than this song.
